The new version will now contain 8 Components and a few new classes and functions. The components included in the library are :
  1. Standard Components

    • TKNGLabel : An enhanced Label component which allows to draw a Bevel Border around it (using the TKNGBevel class).
      The label also has an OnMouseEnter and an OnMouseLeave event !


    • TKNGURLLabel : A label which descends from the TKNGCustomLabel components, so it also supports the Bevel settings.
      In addition it sopports Hiperlinks to Web Pages and E-Mail


    • TKNGPanel : A descendant from TKNGCustomPanel, which also supports the Bevel Settings and the OnMouseEnter and OnMouseLeave events.


    • TKNGEdit : A TEdit component for which you can set the Backgroundcolor and FontColor for the Disabled Status and the Focused Status.

  2. Data Aware Components

    • TKNGDBNavigator : An enhanced DBNavigator. It descends from the TKNGCustomPanel component so it has the functionalities for the Bevel and such.
      In addition it has some extra buttons (EnterFilter, ApplyFilter, CancelFilter, SetBookmar, GotoBookmark, FreeBookmark, CopyRecord, PrintRecord, PrintList), it can be oriented Horizontally or vertically and the buttons can be grouped in 5 groups.


    • TKNGDBText : A data aware version of the TKNGLabel. It descends from the TKNGCustomLabel so it has the enhanced Bevel support and the OnMouseEnter and OnMouseLeave events.


    • TKNGDBStatusLabel : A Simple DataSet Status Label. It will display the state the dataset is in as well as the FilterState


    • TKNGDBLookupLabel : A simple Lookup Label component which has all the functionality of the TKNGLabel component.

The Library comes with Full Source Code, Online Help files and a Word version of the Online Help files

This little free component enhances the default behaviour of the TDBEdit component available with Delphi. It publishes two fields of TCustomMaskEdit and allows the component to automatically set the correct mask for the linked DataField. Owing to this, you will be able to introduce masks without having to work with TField properties. Present version corrects a bug in the previous ".dcu" that did not work correctly. usual and the new property EditMask. That's all.

TMySQLDataset 0.7 component
This is a component to access MySQL databases from Delphi. It uses libmysql.dll (included), so no BDE, ODBC, or anything more, needed! This component descends from TDataset, so you should be able to link it to most visual database controls. On version 0.7, TMySQLDataset can read data from any MySQL database, and can insert, update and delete from any table too. Probably it can be used in Delphi 3, but I have not tested it.
Freeware for all uses.

The component can open/close all DataSets and all components that inherits from TDataSet. After you drop the component on a TDataModule or TForm double click on it or click the right button and choose , there you can select the DataSets from left list (multiple select) and move them to the right list. The TParadox component allows you to read a Paradox 4+ table without using the BDE. It's short (adds no more than 11K to the program, less if you're already using File I/O), fast (faster then TTable + BDE), and simple (needs only the Paradox.pas file). Reads all Paradox field types except BCD fields. Cannot insert or delete rows. TParadox.FindKey can find a record using the Primary Index, but it can't use any secondary indexes. Written in Delphi 4, but should be compatible with Delphi 3, 5 and 6. Support for Blob (memo) fields and update (in-place) of alpha fields. Sample application and table included. Read comments in the .pas file for more info.
