| TDBAnyImage is a component similar to TDBImage with the main difference being that you can store any graphic format in its associated blob field instead of just bitmaps. The component should be usable with other database engines than the BDE. The main advantage is the gain of space, up to ten times. Also many digital cameras output in JPEG format that can be directly loaded.To facilitate the translation from a regular Paradox graphic field with bitmaps to a blob using other graphic formats, several utilities are provided to restructure the table and update the graphic headers, convert the bitmaps into other formats and resize, crop, flip or mirror the images, pack the table to gain the space. | TxQuery is an SQL engine implemented in a TDataSet descendant component, that can parse SQL syntax, and that will use that syntax to query to another TDataSet, or a group of TDatasets in order to get a result set. Works very similar to TQuery that comes with Delphi. The main difference rely on the fact that TxQuery dataset can query to any TDataSet descendant component, and that way, can be used with BDE alternatives that don't implement the SQL language.
