Padded is a freeware IDE for use wih the (also free) borland commandline tools. It has syntax highlighting, advanced find and replace functions, captures dos output, formatted error messages from the compiler etc. It could be used as a replacement to notepad. Im constantly updating it because I am learning C++ at the moment. As I learn padded will be updated.

Pascal Indent (for Windows) is highly configurable indenter, pretty-printer and beautifier of Pascal/Delphi source codes. It can also convert Pascal source codes to text formats like RTF, HTML, XML or TEX according to syntax of code. Pascal Indent was developed mainly for Borland Pascal 7 and Inprise Delphi 5 (lower versions not tested, but should work). Source codes are not included in this package, but can be downloaded from Pascal Indent Homepage pasind.tsx.org. Other packages (various binaries, documentation etc.) can be found there too.
