TurboSprite is a suite of Delphi 4 components for sprite-based animation.  TurboSprite comes with the following components and classes:

  • TSpriteSurface is the visual component where sprite animation takes place.  You set the Active property to true to turn on animation, and the AnimationInterval property to determine the animation speed.
  • TDibCanvas is a class similar to Delphi's TCanvas, but comes with high-speed, optimized graphics routines.
  • TColorPalette is a component used to manage a 256-color palette.
  • TSpriteEngine is a non-visual component that contains and manages sprites, and handles collision-detection.
  • TBitmapSprite, TPolygonSprite and TFireworkSprite are the sprite-classes that are included in TurboSprite.  You can also create your own TSprite classes.
  • TDestinationSpriteMover and TThrustSpriteMover are components you use to move sprites.  You can also create your own TSpriteMover classes.
  • TSpriteFactories are non-visual components that create sprite instances.  You specify your sprites' attributes here at design-time.

PrismServer is a set of Internet lobby services for Delphi. With PrismServer, your users can use your applications to log in, chat, update their user information (even assign a custom glyph) and exchange application-specific information. PrismServer is divided into several major components.

TfrmServer is the base server form class.

TfrmDbServer is a derived server form class that manages user information in a BDE database.

TPrismConnection is a non-visual component that you use in your client application.  All communication with the server is handled through this component's properties, methods, and events.

Visit the PrismServer Home Page at http://www.silicmdr. com/PrismServer.htm.
