Two methods are acceptable:
If your first transfer fails, please do upload again with different name eg
my_file.zip ( failed )
my_file.zip.use_this ( second try )
my_file.zip.use_this_2 ( third try ... and so on )
Please use meaningful names ( do not bother they are not along with DSP
naming conventions - they will be converted manually to propper ones )
Please note that after upload your file belongs to me therefore you are
not allowed to use this file ie delete, overwrite or even read.
This is my favourite method of receiving medium-sized uploads. Please do not feel
guilty for using my ICM e-mail account ( ie
rmczerw@icm.edu.pl )
for this purpose.
But I have to warn you - I accept files attached to e-mail as MIME. Please
do not send UUEncoded attechnets anymore. Please DO NOT use unique, non
standard attachments ( as M$ ms-tnef was ) because I don't know how to handle
them.
inf/upl files, and even text/htm descriptions file should be attached ( not pasted
into mail body.
