TCiaComPort is a Delphi component (full source included) for serial communications. It is full event driven and fires an event when data is available. It has also a 'LineMode' property in case you want to receive packets wich ends with particulary characters.

SmallPort Delphi Component
Allows access hardware ports in Win95/98 for Delphi 2-4 using VxD driver(included).
Now it can work with Windows 9x (using smport.vxd) and Windows NT/2000 (using smport.sys).
Also included source of smport.vxd driver (source of smport.sys is not included and I am not going to supply with it).

This is PC Speaker access component. Setting the frequency property to 0 or negative value will swith the speaker off. When it is set to positive value, speaker starts to beep continuously with this frequency.
