DbfSql.exe is a 16 bits, MDI, dBase IV and Paradox Tables browser and data editor. Is builded in Delphi 1.0 and so it needs the correct BDE version installed. Full SQL driven, doesn't need indexes. Like any MDI application you can open and work with so many tables you want at the same time. Allows sorting and filtering and the ZAP function is applied only for records matching the desired conditions. It means that it zaps all the records you can see on the grid. WARNING : Every time you want to apply some criteria on sorting or filtering, you have to push after the button 'Cerca' to obtain what's your wish. Otherwise it can happens that if you want to delete only a sub-set of the table and you forget the function 'Cerca', pushing the 'ZAP' button you loose all your data. (anyway, zapping has always been something to use with care...) About editing or adding records it necessary that the search mode is set to 'Esatta' (exact) pushing the correct RadioButton on group 'Modalità di ricerca' (search mode). It's also available a simple printing function, but, because of the general purposing, it's impossible to obtain something like a report. It means that any field of the record is printed on a different line. Sorry for the language version of messages and labels, now it's italian but we will change it very soon if people will be interested on our job. G.Burzomato - L.Menghini
